Dear Members of Friends of Guatemala,
It is with the heaviest of heart that I write to you. I received a sad phone call over the weekend that our dear and beloved friend Dr. Luis Giron has passed away. As we all know, Dr. Giron exemplified the true meaning of a kind-hearted person. His endless pursuit to assist those less fortunate in Guatemala was admirable. His energy and dedication as a vital member of FOG was unsurpassed. The way he carried himself and the way he always led by example was a commendable trait. His good nature and his generosity will be profoundly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Please keep a special place in your heart for Luis. He was an exceptional person and his loss is felt by us all. We will make sure to pass on any further information and how FOG plans to honor him for all his dedication and goodwill.
Warmest regards,
Otto F. Luttmann
